National School of Drama, Delhi is famous for giving so many talented actors to the Bollywood industry and the pass outs have definitely made a mark in the industry. The only reason behind giving so much talent to the industry is that the National School of Drama offers its student with the much needed potential on how to make it big. National School of Drama is also known as the Method school of acting.

Raj Babbar

Raj Babbar is trained from National School of Drama and was involved in many street theatres which improved his acting skills and it was all because of the method school that Raj Babbar learnt much about acting and got his first break in Bollywood in his first film. National School of Drama gave Raj Babbar much and he credits the institution of acting for his success.

Tigmanshu Dhulia

Indian film director, producer, actor, screenplay and dialogue writer-once an student of National School of Drama where Dhulia learnt the techniques of the work. Tigmanshu Dhulia holds a master’s degree in theatre from the school of acting.

An Alumni of the National School of Drama. According to Neena Gupta, Theatre feels like home after she learnt the basics from the method acting school and still for Neena Gupta, there is no other place like Theatre to work on. Though she had done many television and serials but still her love theatre remains the same.

Adil Hussain

Adil Hussain is an Indian stage, television and film actor who works in mainstream Bollywood as well as art house cinema.  He joined National School of Drama and by learning more n more, he became very well weaved in the techniques of acting. Adil Hussain credits his journey to NSD.

A Global Indian personality. Irrfan Khan has come up a long way from NSD to the much bigger platform. Irrfan still remembers NSD for the training and the work he learned over there. One of the graduates from NSD who has taken his acting to Hollywood.

Satish kaushik

Film director and actor who is still heavily involved with theatre. Satish Kaushik was the batch mate with Anupam Kher in NSD. Satish Kaushik has directed many films with his co-batch mates and received recognition for his comedy roles.

Om Shivpuri

A theatre actor and director appeared in a number of films. He is counted as one the personalities who became the first chief of NSD and one of it actors also. He also founded his own theatre group in Delhi.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Appeared in many films and kept repeating his success with his acting. The NSD graduate actor has made his own place in the industry and counted amongst the sensible actors who do justice to their roles. Nawazuddin Siddiqui has made his mark strong in Bollywood.
