He was just 29 years old when he made Sholay which is a milestone in Indian film history. He wanted to make a big film but he didn’t knew he was making history not just a film. Sholay is one of the biggest blockbuster till today.
His father G. P. Sippy was also a successful Film producer. He produced many Hindi Films. Ramesh Sippy took the legacy one step forward.
Early connect to films
He got aware about films since his childhood when he visited film sets in the age of six years along with his father who was producing that film. Ramesh played as child artist in his father’s film. To be successful in life, one need to live that environment of his interest.
Preparation for the big success
Sholay did not happen over night. He had to work hard before that for many years. He not only worked in all departments of film production as a team member but also remained Assistant Director for many years & many films. It shows his dedication for his work.
