It is extremely important to regulate your Sodium consumption as it is essential to retain your health and overall well-being of your body. The human body needs sodium in its daily diet as it assists in the impulse movement by the nerves, controls fluid balance in tissues and contributes towards muscle functions. However, excess sodium can also lead to serious health issues and create long-term impact on your body.

Leads to Atherosclerosis
Higher pressure on the walls of your blood vessels makes them harder and rigid, decreasing their elasticity over a period of time and leading to Atherosclerosis. Excess sodium in your body is responsible for increase in blood volume and subsequently pressure too.
Make sure your salt intake remains in the healthy range by giving your table salt a miss and avoid processed foods like soups and canned foods as much as possible and adopt a healthy and safe lifestyle forever.
