6 Suggestions to Provide Clean Drinking Water to Everyone


Businessman & philanthropist Manoj Bhargava rightly said:

People with water-borne diseases occupy more than 50% of hospital beds across the world. Does the answer lie in building more hospitals? Really, what is needed is to give them clean water.

This is truth that people don’t have access to clean water. They are bound to suffer as many diseases occur because of lack of clean Drinking water. Here are ‘7 Suggestions to provide Clean Drinking Water to Everyone’:


Suggestion 1: Employers

Employers can provide Water filters / RO’s to employees as Diwali Gift or on loan. Employers can do bulk deals with Water filters / RO companies to get filters at discounted price.


Suggestion 2: Schemes

Government can start some scheme to provide Water filters / RO’s on subsidized rates. These can be compensated with some other subsidies.


Suggestion 3: Innovation

Government should motivate people, companies to innovate to provide free clean water to everyone. With innovation either water can be cleaned at low cost or low cost filters can be made.


Suggestion 4: CSR

Government can put this on priority under “Corporate Social Responsibility” compliance by Corporate’s. Under CSR Corporate’s spend some portion of money on social activities.


Suggestion 5: Awareness

Government should create awareness for advantages of drinking clean water. Though it’s already being done but it can be done in a more creative way.


Suggestion 6: Social

NGO’s, Social Organizations should come up and help in providing clean drinking water to poor. Social organizations who have enough funding, can play a major role in this.
