Start making excuses
Make genuine and believable excuses to that person so that you can avoid them as well as not become a victim of their suspicion that you’re avoiding them.
Try helping them
If you cannot avoid and you want to continue hanging out with them, try to change them. Help them the way they need. Try to bring them back to normal before starting to hang out with them.
Make a proper beforehand plan
If you feel it’s hard to confront people and say that you don’t want to be with them because that may cause instant issues, Practice some ways you can let them know that you’re not interested to be with them. This is much important because you have to do the whole thing in a subtle way to avoid any unwanted arguments.
Engage yourself in various other activities
When you’re bored, you tend to go back to the old company. Distract yourself. Keep yourself engaged which will help you get rid of those who think was bad company.
It’s never wrong to ask suggestions from people you trust. Sometimes they can be the best people to tell you the right thing. Don’t hesitate talking to them.
Make new friends
Whenever you feel you’re left alone after moving away from that bad company, try making new friends. This will also make you occupied and helps you stay away from them.
