Almighty god has created everything in this world with a reason. Even a smallest thing has some special quality in it. Whether you talk about an ant or an elephant there’s lot to learn. Through this article we will share inspiring lessons and learning’s which one could get from ants.
1) Size doesn’t matter
An ant is capable to carry more weight than their own weight. It teaches us that size doesn’t matter. What you need is the will power. Like ants one is capable to do more things. We need to know our potential.
2) Team work
You will often see ants working as a team. They have wonderful co-ordination. They work without any kind of noise. They work in absolute sync. They believe in togetherness. If ants can do this why not humans? Someone rightly said “When many work together for a goal, Great things may be accomplished. It is said a lion cub was killed By a single colony of ants.”
You will often see an ant following another ant. Every ant has leadership qualities. You can’t achieve team work without leadership. In Bernard Werber’s words “Ants can live together in solidarity and forget themselves in the community. In a normative capitalist society, everyone is an egoist. In the ants’ civilization, you are part of the group; you don’t live for yourself alone.”
4) Well organized
You will never see ants in a crowded shape. They always are aligned in a queue. They are well organized. They are much disciplined as well. Ants have the most complicated social organization on earth next to humans. Lewis Thomas once said “I won’t compare ants and people, but ants give us a useful model of how single members of a community can become so organized that they end up resembling, in effect, one big collective brain. Our own exploding population and communication technology are leading us that way.”
5) Common goal
All ants work for a single target that is to collect food for them. You will often see ants carrying food with them and dumping it at one place. It is said “Ants are good citizens, they place group interests first.”
Ants work until their goal of food collection is completed. They work with the same pace. Every ant works with the same passion.
Ants are tireless. They don’t take breaks until their work is completed. They work with full dedication and do laborious work. They don’t waste their time on gossip. Willard Wigan rightly mentions “As a kid, I lived in a fantasy world. I used to believe ants could talk. Not once did they say thank you.”
8) Proactive approach
It is said that ants are futuristic and they collect their food well in advance. They collect food winters in summers which show their proactive approach. A famous quote to support this “It is not enough to be busy. So are the ants. The question is: What are we busy about?”
