17th September is the birthday of Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. On this day he receives millions of best wishes from his followers. 17th Sep 2016 is very special when Mr. Modi has completed more than two years as PM. Before his birthday he has been able to get the GST bill also passed.
On his birthday, Industrialist Anil Ambani has revealed a surprising incident from the past. While wishing Mr. Modi on his birthday, Anil Ambani on Prime Minister’s website narendramodi.in has shared that his father had invited Mr. Modi home in the early 1990s, several years before he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001. Once Modi had left after having a “long, intense conversation” with the Reliance founder, he’d remarked that Modi would one day become the Prime Minister, Anil wrote in his message.

Today is the birthday of our beloved Prime Minister Narendrabhai. I recall the time I first met him in the 1990s, when my father, Padma Vibhushan Dhirubhai Ambani, invited him home for dinner.
At the end of their long intense conversation, and he left, Papa remarked: “Lambi race no ghodo chhe”. “Leader chhe” – “PM banse” – He’s a thoroughbred for the long run. A true leader! He will be Prime Minister!
As ever, Papa was simple, direct – and prophetic!
In 2014, when the country chose Narendrabhai to be Prime Minister, it was a defining moment in our history and Papa would have been smiling from heaven that his prophecy as usual had come true.
It is a tribute to Narendrabhai’s leadership that India now stands transformed as a nation where cynicism has made way for pride, inertia for efficiency and red-tape for corruption-free decision making.
Narendrabhai has been described in many ways.
My personal favorite comes from a literal reading of his name.
In Sanskrit, ‘Nara’ means man and ‘Indra’ king or leader.
Narendrabhai, in other words, is a leader of leaders, and a king of kings.
In the words of my father Narendrabhai “dreams with his eyes open” and with Arjuna like clarity of vision and purpose.
Today, as Narendrabhai turns 66 and the nation celebrates his birthday, the Ambani family considers itself truly blessed that we have had the good fortune to know Narendrabhai personally. My mother Kokilaben, my wife Tina, and sons Anmol and Anshul join over a billion fellow Indians in prayer: “May God continue to give him the strength and wisdom to lead us from strength to strength and conquer greater heights for our country – India – Bharat”.
This shows how great a visionary Dhirubhai Ambani was.
