Arunima Sinha who is the first female amputee to climb Mount Everest is an inspiring personality. Many people may not know that she was a national level volleyball player who was thrown away from a running train by thieves in 2011 while she was opposing them from robbing train passenger’s belongings. Because of this incident, she had to be on hospital bed for months and one of her legs had to be amputated below the knee.
We continue sharing everything from Arunima’s life which could inspire other people. Just few hours back, on her facebook page she has shared news about her receiving “Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award”. She has mentioned that “This award is presented in recognition of unmatched dedication in Land Adventure. This all have been possible because of your support and blessings. This award is dedicated to #SwamiVivekanandaji and the whole Nation. Thanks to all for the backing.” We congratulate Arunima Sinha on getting this award.
