Bill Stewart – This interim coach of West Virginia Mountaineers gave a superb speech and motivated his players to perform amazingly


American football coach Bill Stewart or Stew is highly popular coach born in West Virginia in USA in the year 1952. He caught the attention of many when he was previously the head coach at the Virginia Military Institute and did a great job for three years. This Fairmont State College graduate was a three year letter man and a team captain at the college and was superb.
In the year 2007 this Bill Stewart was named as the interim coach of the West Virginia Mountaineers as their original coach Rich Rodriguez left the team.

It would have been the situation of a boat without a paddle if Bill Stewart hadn’t been appointed as interim coach for this West Virgina Mountaineers team. At that point of time the situation of this team was very bad. This Bill Stewart took over as interim coach and made many heads turn with his superb leadership qualities.

This was the match against Oklahoma Sooners team and it was a crucial match. Bill Stewart gave superb speech at the pre-game for the 2008 Fiesta Bowl which is USA based college football game played every year in Phoenix, Arizona. He created great impact on the players.

His words ‘’let them know and leave no doubt tonight’’ plus ‘’they shouldn’t have played the old gold and blue’’ was sensational and motivated his players to superb level and they won the game beating Sooners. The score of 48-28 for Bill Stewart’s men was just awesome. superb. Superb Bill Stewart!!
