David Ortiz – This baseball player of Boston Red Sox team gave inspirational speech during the game against Kansas City Royals and is awesome


Born in the year 1975 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic David Ortiz is famous baseball player. As a player for Boston Red Sox team in the Major League Baseball or MLB he has been spoken in high esteem by many. It must be noted that from the years 1997 till 2002 David Ortiz represented Minnesota Twins that is based in Minneapolis in Minnesota, USA.

It must be noted that Boston Marathon tragedy in the year 2013 made huge noises all over and the entire city of Boston was in need of energy to increase their self confidence. It must be noted that on 20th of April in 2013 the city of Boston was waiting for the game versus Kansas City Royals. At this juncture player David Ortiz thought of giving a speech that would increase the spirits of the audiences greatly. His speech was highly effective that day and created great impact on the people there.

David Ortiz in his speech made it clear that the team Red Sox represented the city of Boston and not just franchise. David Ortiz then thanked Boston Mayor plus others like Governor of Massachusetts plus public service employees for their stupendous contributions at the time of Boston Marathon tragedy.

He then said Boston is their city and nobody could dictate freedom and asked people to stay strong. Many people who were present there for the game were surprised by the intensity of the speech. Superb David Ortiz!!
