Engineering & Literature
He wanted to be a Mechanical Engineer because most of his family members and relatives were Mechanical Engineers. Apart from Mechanical Engineering he also had interest in reading books. One reason for choosing Mechanical Engineering was that because it was considered to be the safe option from career point of view.
When the blog thing came into existence, he started writing blog which later turned to be book writing when he was preparing for his Management Degree exam. Though he was not serious about writing but anyhow his first book got published and became a big success.
Good to be uncomfortable
When he completed his Management degree he joined a Multinational company thinking that he will never do the writing work and will enjoy working in a MNC. After few months of job neither he wrote any book nor he read any. This is when he started feeling uncomfortable and got to know this is not the place for him and he quit his job without giving a second thought.
Writing as a profession
He believes that statistically very few percentage of people are able to earn good amount of money from writing work. Writing is not something like an eCommerce business. He believes that publishing is a very ‘hit and miss’ business.
He believes that one good thing which he did was he kept himself surrounded with books. He wrote books, he read books. This helped him kept going. Rest is history when he came into the category of Bestseller authors.
