Keshhav Panneriy, an Indo-Canadian Director marks his Bollywood Debut with a film of large canvas-“Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai”. The film will star Arbaaz Khan, Ashutosh Rana, Prem Chopra, Supriya Pathak, Manjari Fadnis and Himansh Kohli. The film is slated to release on January 2017.
Keshhav in his previous years has been credited with many works. Started career as an actor at the early age of five on stage and later went onto perform as an outsider at the National School of Drama in 1996. Keshhav Panneriy has worked closely with a diverse range of local and international theatre companies with renowned names such as Sir Jhon Russel Brown, Steve Jharend, Renee Porte, Arya Rice, Rozalia Hummer and Dr. Devendra Raj Ankur.
When Keshhav Panneriy was in the U.S., he met Purnima Mead (Bibia films Pvt. Ltd.), the producer of the film and discussed the idea and later on the script work was started. It took Keshhav almost a year to complete the script. According to Keshhav, the film has an intriguing story and was shot on a large canvas to bring it closer to more reality and the film is currently reaching its last schedule. Till now the film has been shot on 150 different locations.
Keshhav has a theatre background that helped him realize his dream.
“While theatre helped me extract the best performance from my actors, academics aided me to bring my vision on the big screen,” said Keshhav.
While working on the film, Keshhav said, “The biggest challenge is to make a believable movie. We want to present viewers with something they haven’t experienced before. I’m sure they’ll be treated to an entertaining film.”
