Sachin Tendulkar’s life has been an inspiration to everyone. He started playing at a very young age and played all formats of the game for over two and half decades. 40+ years old this player never involved himself into any kind of controversy and played clean cricket. His conduct, on and off the field sets an example for others.
Sachin’s life was highly influenced by people who were close to him including his father, mother, brother, wife, kids, other family members, teachers and Guru Ramakant Achrekar. He learnt many life lessons from them. He is a learner till today.
In one of the interview Sachin Tendulkar shared one of the great lessons his father taught him when he was growing up. His father’s advice was so useful that Sachin remembers that even till today. His father told him:
“Chase your dreams, but make sure you do not find short cuts. The path might be difficult, but don’t give up. Also be a nice human being.”
Sachin says that his father was the most important person in his life. Though his father passed away in the year 1999 but he still misses him a lot.
