Kangana Ranaut to play Rani Lakshmi Bai and she seems to be the best choice for this role


The fever of biopic goes on with some history too. A history of warriors, a history of brave hearts who concluded that nothing van beat them and atrocities are not meant for them and with this, here comes a name with a lion heart and as the country knows her well by the name of Rani Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi. On the terms of modern history, she was known to be one of the most revolutionary fighters that history had teamed up with. Talking about her, it is said that when she enters the battlefield, the death of the rivals was a must and Rani Lakshmi Bai proved it.

The Indian Rebellion of 1857 will soon be experienced by the people on big screen. The story of Rani Lakshmi Bai will be presented through the vision of Ketan Mehta, the director of the film who has also directed films like Manjhi and none other than the actress will be essaying the role of the Indian Revolutionary about whom it is said that she alone can handle the film on her acting, it’s Kangna Ranaut.

Here’s a sneak peek into the life of revolutionary.

Lakshmi Bai lost her mother when she was four. Her father worked in a court. She was known as playful child and at an age where other children’s are dependent on their parents for one or the other thing, Rani Lakshmi Bai was an independent girl and can sort her problems out herself. Her studies included shooting, horsemanship and fencing. Earlier she was known by the name-Manikarnika and later when she got married to the king of Jhansi, she was credited with the name of Lakshmi Bai but after her husband was dead, the British East India Company ordered her to leave the fort and the rest follows up with History about she has taken the war and finally reached its culmination.

The film/biopic is said to be covering all the unknown aspects of her life too and this will for sure would be leaving a definite mark on biopics. The film will go floors from next year and people will soon experience a grand opus of a revolutionary fighter- Rani Lakshmi Bai- The Rani of Jhansi.
