M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, a biopic on India’s captain cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni is all set to release on 30th September 2016. It’s Sushant Singh Rajput who is gaining all the headlines because he is playing reel life MS Dhoni. One person who is going unnoticed is Bollywood actress Kiara Advani who is playing reel life character of Sakshi Dhoni, beautiful wife of MS Dhoni.

Kiara made her Bollywood debut in the year 2014 with film Fugly which didn’t do well on box office. She was not able to create her magic with this film.

Kiara has some reference to Bollywood but not any godfather. She is great granddaughter of veteran actor Ashok Kumar and grand-niece of Saeed Jaffrey.

Her name by birth was Alia Advani but now it’s changed to Kiara Advani. Wikipedia define the reason of her name change and entry to Bollywood as following.

Kiara’s mother Geneviève had a sister, Shaheen Jaffrey, who once worked as a model and briefly dated the future superstar Salman Khan – indeed, she is said to have been his first girlfriend. Salman Khan took avuncular interest in Kiara’s career progression and expended effort in guiding Kiara when she first entered the film industry. It was reportedly at his behest that Advani changed her name from ‘Alia’ to ‘Kiara.

There’s an interesting story which Kiara often shares that her father encouraged her to do what she wants after watching “3 Idiots” Hindi movie. Before joining films Kiara has done few short terms acting courses one from Anupam Kher’s school of acting also.

Kiara finds her to be optimistic and values family relations. She loves watching American TV programs.

Her father Jagdeep is a Sindhi businessman. Kiara has seen multi cultures. Her mother is half- Brit and half-Muslim. She proudly says “I am thus a cocktail of mixed blood”.

We wish her all the best for her role in M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.
