Nageswara Rao- This college principal in Andhra Pradesh uses ‘’The Hindu’’ newspaper to teach English to the students

Not everybody can speak proper English. For many students speaking English correctly is not an easy task. The humiliation faced by these students as they could not speak proper English is very high.

The news that would take every body by surprise is principal of Government Junior College, GJC, in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh has been doing amazingly for the benefit of students of around 400.

It is superb to note that he uses a unique and novel method to create interest in learning English in the students at the GJC, Guntur. It is now confirmed that the students of this college read ‘’The Hindu’’ newspaper so that the nuances of the language reading could be got.

It is said that this new method of learning is superb as students were able to know new words, expressions and the context in which they are used. Nageswara Rao spoke about how the language of English was made simple and easily understandable for the students.

This reading session by the students of GJC is a regular one and it is said that Rao had used this unique method even before also for many students. This effort by the principal Rao is now praised by many students who feel that they have now improved in English communication.

It is amazing that a boy named Ramu studying class eight attended this reading session as he had superb interest in learning English. The good news is Rao is also doing his bit in making the students stay focused by distributing some motivational books etc.
