She started working in a local radio station as a co-anchor when she was just 19 years old.
She was happy working in media and later joined a local TV channel. She was youngest news anchor and the first black female news anchor on that channel.
When she was working for a renowned TV channel she was removed from her co-anchor position and was given lower profile.
Her show ‘AM Chicago’ became mega success. It became uppermost rated show in Chicago. Success of her show generated multi fold revenue for the channel.
Her talk show ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ became one of the most watched programs on television. In her show she interviewed almost every celebrity of America.
When she became successful she participated in other ventures like films, online content, publishing, coaching, broadcasting etc.
She has huge fan following across the globe and she is today known as a spiritual and motivational leader.
She became richest African-American of the 20th century.
She is the greatest black philanthropist in American history.
She is North America’s first and only multi-billionaire black person.
