Priyanka Chopra to come up with her first production venture for a Punjabi Film

Priyanka Chopra known as the Desi Girl has made her mark across the world and then she came up with her very first venture by producing a Bhojpuri Film titled as Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi and now she is stepping again by taking her production venture in a Punjabi Film- “Sarvann” under her production house Purple Pebble Pictures (PPP).

The film is jointly produced by Vashu Bhagnani, one of the renowned producers in Bollywood and Dr. Madhu Chopra. Sarvann is a story of a young boy who unknowingly discovers his true identity. The film will be directed by Karaan Guliani and the film will star Amrinder Gill, Ranjit Bawa and Simi Chehail and is written by Amberdeep Singh. Music composed by Jatinder Shah.

The film has been shot in Chandigarh and Canada, two places which are known for Punjabis.

“We’re equally honored and excited to collaborate with Vashuji and the team at Puja Entertainment on this film.  We’ve had such an amazing response to our regional film ventures and we’re now looking forward to our Punjabi debut, which has now been further strengthened by the support and experience of Vashuji,” said Priyanka Chopra.

Dr. Madhu Chopra who is also collaborating said that the film is a heart-touching narrative of a young NRI returning to India to find his roots.

Producer Vashu Bhagnani was happy with the opportunity to work together with Dr. Madhu Chopra and Priyanka Chopra and making the debut as producers for a Punjabi film together. Vashu Bhagnani said that he loved the script of the film.
