People often say women are weak and they are least risk takers.  Anyone who thinks so should get to know about Co-Producer of newly released Hindi Movie Pink, her name is Rashmi Sharma.

Acclaimed Television Producer took a big risk of her life and decided to co-produce ‘Pink’ with Shoojit Sircar. The film is in theaters and running successfully. Though the film crew has not done much promotion and has not created much hype about the movie but still most of the shows are going houseful.

In some of the media interviews, Rashmi did mention that she decided to go with “Pink” because of the film’s content and the social message it has. Film shows issues of current times.

“As a female producer, I am proud I decided on a film like this to debut in Bollywood” she said in one of the interview.

When she makes TV serials, she always focuses on giving some sort of message through the episodes. After the film reviews and responses from the audience she feels she has chosen a right path and should continue on this.

“Everyone’s work in the film has been appreciated and I am grateful to the entire team” she told TOI.

Pink was made not for commercial reasons.

“When you are clear about what you want, no fear can stop you from achieving it” she further added.

She believes that women around the world are facing issues and through films such issues can be highlighted. Film dialogues were written in a way not to entertain but to give message. This is a small attempt and lot more to be done that’s what she believes.

We wish Rashmi for the success of Pink and we are sure she has lot to achieve in future!!
