Reabetswe Mmekwa: South African girls bags the world titles in the beauty pageants held recently ,read on!


Reabetswe Mmekwa and Tahiraah Zungu from South Africa have won world titles in two separate pageants over the past week.

Tahiraah Zungu was born in Mahikeng North West, South Africa.She was crowned Miss Teen Universe held recently at Turkey .There were 25 other teens competing in this event from across the world.She is a young model and a student in Grade 11 at Sol Plaatjie Secondary School.

Reabetswe Mmekwa,  has been crowned Little Miss World for 2016 in the 9 to 12-year-old category. She is a Grade 6 pupil from a Soshanguve school.She is also the founder of Ditsala Children’s Shield and Projects.She represented SA in the Little Miss World International pageant in Greece, Europe, this weekend.

Her aim was to use this platform to create awareness for her philanthropic efforts.The project focuses on young girls and elderly women with the aim of restoring their dignity.She is also the head girl at her school .She participates in gymnastics and athletics too.She gave a heartfelt speech to her friends and family in a Freedom Park celebration recently where she also spoke against the ill treatment of animals.
