A seven year old girl from Varanasi, Sonam Patel, has done wonders in this tender age. She can recite 700 stanzas of 18 chapters of English version as well as Sanskrit version of the Bhagavad Gita in one go. She wants to use this as a weapon against the cruelty of this world and spread peace and love on the Earth. She is a student of 4th class of Universal Academy and also remembers 18 chapters of the English version of the Bhagavad Gita published by Gita Press. She is good at Mathematics also.

This little genius is the daughter of Sadabrij Patel, a private teacher in Sundarpur area, reveals the fact that Sonam recites Bhagavad Gita since she was three years old. It’s a gift of nature to her that she has inclined towards spirituality in such a small age which would convert her into a great personality in future.

Sonam met Shri Narinder Modi in Banaras and impressed by her peaceful intentions, mentioned her in his on-air programme, ‘Man Ki Bat’.  True capabilities cannot be kept hidden from the world. Sonam does not want to play like other children of her age, but she wants to spread the knowledge of Bhagavad Gita and other religious epics in the entire world. She also wants to acquire the hidden knowledge of India’s ancient religious epics.
