Review – Its strength in characters
Critics say apart from being shot beautifully by making use of practical sets, the film’s biggest win is the introduction of four new main characters to the franchise – Daisy Ridley’s Rey, John Boyega’s Finn, Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren and Oscar Isaac’s Poe. All of them give pleasant feel to the movie.
Excellent in all aspects
The original “Star Wars” movies are not perfect always and also “The Force Awakens” does not look completely perfect but it definitely succeeds in its objective of enduring the inheritance with an infectiously and accessible joyous sequel. The sequel is exactly the film it has to be with a modern look yet it shows a reverent sensibility in every aspects from the sharp dialogue to the prominent variety in the main cast.
