The happy news to all Hindus in Greater Toronto, Canada now is soon there would be a Lord Hanuman statue that would be installed in the Vishnu Mandir. It must be noted that on 2nd of July 2016 this 50 ft statue of Lord Hanuman would be installed in this temple of Richmond Hill in Greater Toronto place.

Famous Hindu preacher name Morari Bapu would be playing important role during the installation ceremony. One great point to be noted is there would be 108 recitations of Lord Hanuman chalisa and three sessions of Ramayana. It is interesting to note that this Vishnu Mandir also runs Canadian Museum of Indian Civilization that showcases Hinduism. Apart from this Anand Bhavan Seniors home, Academy of Learning and Montessori School for 2.5 to 6 year olds, Baal Vihar program for 5 to 16 year old, Sangeet academy for promoting India’s music and dance etc are also run by this Vishnu mandir.

The Kathak dancing classes and vocal music plus violin classes conducted by this temple is highly appreciated by many. It is said that the importance of Hinduism must be passed on to the youngsters of today.

It must be noted that Budhendranath Doobay is the chairman of the EB of this mandir while Krishna Misir and Dr Balbahadur and Bhoj Sharma are the president, general secretary and chief priest respectively. It is well known that this Richmond Hill is also home to the famous David Dunlap observatory telescope. Superb news!!
