We all know Udit Narayan as one of the famous and successful singers. He has sung songs like Mil Gaya, Ae Mere Humsafar, Papa Kehte Hai, Lal Dupatta Malmal Ka and many others. Udit has sung over 25,000 songs in over 35 languages. He has won many awards and recognitions.
But we wanted to share the success wasn’t easy. He wasn’t born with a born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Whatever he is today is because of his hard work, talent and dedication.
In one of the interview, the legendary singer shared something about his childhood which is quite emotional but one can feel proud with this. In his own words:
“I was blessed with a good voice but not a good life. We didn’t have a radio at home, but when I’d hear Mohammad Rafi’s voice emit from a neighbour’s radio, I’d be mesmerised. I’d sing for 25 paise at small village fairs.”
A person who has achieved success after this kind of struggle always sets an example for others. We wish his son Aditya will take his legacy to next level.
