Born into danger UNICEF

The gift of a child for any couple is very special and decisive moment. Couples across the world go to great lengths to make sure that their child is born in safe and healthy environs. But are all couples so fortunate everywhere? No.

As a newly-released video by the UNICEF blatantly shows, the life-truths of a couple, that endures great difficulties to ensure that their newborn comes into a world that is safe and unharmed.

The core-purpose of this video is to shed light on all that a couple experiences – albeit metaphorically – just to make sure of their child’s well-being and safety.

The sad reality of today’s world is that a number of nations across the world are war-afflicted. And UNICEF’s new video is about their struggle and hardships.

Statistics reveal that in 2015 alone, more than 16 million babies were born in conflict zones. Reports show that 1 in 8 of all births across the world this year, have been in conflict-ridden areas.

In countries like Afghanistan, Syria or Central African Republic, mothers have to undertake long and tedious journeys just for keeping their kids clear of risks and fighting.

A mother who has just given birth, both she and the newborn, are under great risk. Because the conditions around them are so volatile, both mother and baby are equally vulnerable, especially the mother, as she has delivered the baby sans medicare and amidst unsanitary conditions.

Because of all the key essentials are absent from the beginning of their lives, children are forced to live dangerous childhood. In order to remedy this situation, the UNICEF has launched an initiative called #FightUnfair.
